I checked baggage on my first flight. How do I make sure my baggage is transferred to my new Freebird flight?

The general rule of thumb for commercial airline flights states that if a passenger is not on a flight, their checked baggage may not fly without them. However, handling baggage is tricky, and many airlines have their own policies and processes for managing baggage transfer. It's best to double check with your TMC or your airline if you've chosen to rebook your flight after your baggage has been checked-in.

If you ever run into a baggage transfer issue when rebooking with Freebird, a travel agent from your company’s TMC  can contact the airline to help ensure that your bags arrive with you at your destination.
